Well, it's been awhile since my last update and I hope all is well with everyone. There's been quite a bit of talk lately about another "Beverly Hills Cop", but as of now, I have not heard anything definite. I know from your fan mail that you would like to see another one with me playing Taggart again, and if everything works out I would love to recreate him. There has also been some talk about another "Midnight Run". It would be a pleasure to work with Robert DeNiro again and reprise my role of Marvin Dorfler.
Also, I had a great time in Hollywood attending the gala for Jerry Bruckheimer honoring him for all the terrific films he's produced. It was a great opportunity to get together with some of the people I've worked with in the past ( Judge, Eddie, Martin Brest, Nicholas Cage, Tony Scott, John Turtletaub ) and others I've met before but haven't had the privilege to work with yet ( John Voight, Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thortnton, Jake Gyllenhall, and others. It was a treat.Spent a week with the Wounded Warriors at Camp LeJeune, NC. All I can say is, I'm glad these guys are on our side. God Bless 'em. Just got back from Destin, FL for the St. Jude Celebrity Golf Tournament. I'm always humbled and feel a little guilty about my bitching after being around these brave and positive kids. I did get my first HOLE-IN-ONE on the 13th hole at Reggata Bay CC. It was on October 20th, what would have been Mickey Mantles' 80th birthday! How cool is that! My Voice Overs for the Coast Guard should be airing soon, so keep your ears out. Have a good Halloween and be safe.
